Home Theater

A good theater starts with the room: dimensions, seating, light control and acoustics decide the result more than any single product.

Home theater with a starry ceiling, projection screen and leather recliners

Overview

We design dedicated theaters and multipurpose media rooms around projector or display choice, screen size, seating layout and speaker placement, then calibrate video and audio after the room is finished.

Control is kept simple enough that anyone in the house can start a movie without a manual.

  • Room layout and sightline planning
  • Projector or display selection
  • Immersive surround sound design
  • Acoustic treatment guidance
  • Lighting and shade integration
  • One-touch control
  • Video and audio calibration

What a typical project looks like

  1. 1. Consultation

We talk through the home, the rooms, your priorities and a budget range.

  2. 2. Design

Systems, locations and wiring are planned on paper, ideally before construction.

  3. 3. Install

Wiring goes in at the right stage, then equipment is installed and programmed.

  4. 4. Handoff

We walk you through the system and stay available for questions and support.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a dedicated room?

No. Media rooms and living rooms can perform very well; a dedicated room simply gives more control over light and sound.

When should theater planning start on a new build?

Before framing, because ceiling height, soffits, projector throw and wall construction all affect results.
