Technology Design
Most technology problems in a finished home were decided, or skipped, before drywall. Technology design puts those decisions on paper while they are still cheap to change.

Overview
We work from your plans to define what each room needs: display and speaker locations, network drops, control points, shade pockets, lighting loads and where the equipment lives. The output is a wiring schedule and system plan your builder can price and your electrician can follow.
Design is done with the owner, architect and builder in the same conversation, so a theater ceiling height or a rack closet is settled with the structural drawings and not discovered on site.
- Room-by-room technology scope
- Wiring schedule and low-voltage plan markup
- Equipment rack and closet sizing
- Network and Wi-Fi coverage plan
- Coordination notes for builder, electrician and architect
- Budget ranges by system

Frequently asked questions
When should technology design start?
Ideally when the floor plans are near final and before electrical is laid out. Earlier is better; we can also work with plans already in permit if needed.
Do I have to hire Royalty AV to install after design?
The design is a working document you can use with us or another qualified installer. Most clients keep us through prewire and trim-out because the plan and the install stay consistent.
Areas we serve
We install technology design for homes across northern Utah.
